Elliance is a proud sponsor of the 37th Annual Amateur Athletic Union's Junior Olympic Games, which are scheduled to take place July 22 - August 2, 2003. The City of Detroit is hosting the 2003 Games, where more than 15,000 athletes, ages 6 to 22, are expected to compete in 21 sports.
In addition to its sponsorship of the games, Elliance has developed a compelling website for the event, which focuses on junior achievement and provides all necessary information for participants, coaches and parents with up-to-the-minute accuracy. Furthermore, the Pittsburgh-based web design professionals have provided this service at a considerably discounted rate in order to help the nonprofit organization operate within its means while still obtaining a high-quality and inspiring site. According to Elliance President & CEO Abu Noaman, "we were thrilled with the opportunity to work on behalf of the Jr. Olympic Games. The spirit of the Games is consistent with our company’s mission of supporting junior achievement and helping children reach their fullest potential."
Elliance developed the website with built-in Content Management Tools which allow the event organizers to easily update the site with pertinent information. Through the simple click of a mouse, staff members can perform a variety of tasks such as: updating the calendar of events, posting volunteer openings, uploading press releases and related photos, creating an online resource of industry-related links and providing any number of sponsor logos and links to their corresponding homepages.
