When it comes to redesigning manufacturing Web sites, Elliance® has learned that showing is often better than telling. That’s why the revised site for their client, Sophisticated Alloys, Inc., a custom alloys manufacturer based in Butler, Pa., now uses custom photography to showcase their capabilities.
Founded in 1994, Sophisticated Alloys is beginning to attract more enterprise-level customers. Their Web site, however, didn’t represent all of their capabilities or customer success stories. So they asked Internet marketing firm Elliance to redesign their site, gearing it to their ideal customer.
“Sophisticated Alloys stands out as a mid-sized manufacturer, they are small enough to accommodate customization, yet not too small to solve enterprise problems, “explains Abu Noaman, CEO of Elliance. “We decided to add a variety of case studies to the site to show the breadth and depth of Sophisticated Alloys’ experience. They have the experience to handle larger jobs; this just wasn’t reflected in the site.”
The new site showcases their capabilities and expertise while reflecting the clarity and purity of their brand. Site navigation has been simplified and the tabs at the top of the page play on the various stages of production with images depicting raw materials, liquids and solids.
