Pittsburgh— With about 4.5 million U.S. high school seniors and nearly twice as many parents standing guard at the curbside mailbox or web browser awaiting word on college acceptance, college guidebook publisher College Prowler has launched its new website with the help of Elliance.
Elliance led College Prowler through a strategic and information architecture process that resulted in College Prowler making its full library of more than 230 by students, for students college guides accessible online.
“College Prowler is changing the college admissions landscape,” says Elliance chief executive officer Abu Noaman. “The student voice is gaining relevance against third-party rankings. College Prowler has become a player.”
Elliance designed the new College Prowler site to be search engine friendly, and added incentives for driving visitors to view and purchase multiple books. A long-time client, College Prowler previously tapped Elliance to lead its Search Engine Marketing campaign. Elliance secured first-page search engine positions for 10 keywords for some 200 individual colleges to create 2,000 keywords. Traffic increased tenfold in a one-year period. Book sales rose 25 percent from previous year.
