Elliance was recently awarded the 2015 Best in Class Interactive Media Award (IMA) in the Education website design category for the redesign of William Woods University’s (https://www.williamwoods.edu/) website. Elliance has previously been awarded nine other Best in Class IMAs across a multitude of categories, including manufacturing, nonprofit, school, healthcare and others.
According to IMA, “The Best in Class award is the highest honor bestowed by the Interactive Media Awards. It represents the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism.”
In developing this website, Elliance set out with the goal to create a vibrant and welcoming responsive web experience that matched the energy found on William Woods University’s campus, in the hallways and in the hearts of their students and alumni.
Elliance was able to achieve this goal though the use of bold colors and attractive images, creating a sense of place for prospective students. The team was also able to use contextual callouts and content strategy to help guide prospective students through the site and make user experience both simple and engaging.
