Creating an Effective Online Newsroom

1. Optimize News Releases
Include keywords in the title and opening paragraph of news releases so those googling terms specific to your company will find your news release and visit your Web site.
2. Include Optimized Case Studies
Case studies not only tell a story about your company and provide third-party validation, they also provide very specific content that can be optimized for your products or services.
3. Feature Key Employee Bios
By profiling your staff, those visiting your site will be able to get a better feel for who they'll be working with.
4. Post Links to Third-Party Articles
Create buzz and let the world know that the media is talking about you. Leverage publicity on your site by keeping articles up-to-date.
5. Utilize RSS Feeds
Make visitors come back for more - add an RSS feed to your newsroom so site visitors can receive notification when you update content on your site.
