The newly re-launched web site for IssuesPA delivers more to state residents than just the issues. With fresh categories and simplified features, this one-stop information hub is now easier to use.
As an initiative of the Pennsylvania Economy League (PEL), the nonpartisan web site highlights the most important topics affecting Pennsylvania residents and serves as an information powerhouse to reporters, politicians, and the average news junkie.
The site features resources and reports about state politics, healthcare, transportation, and the local economy. Additional information about property taxes, polls, and the 2006 Governor’s Race is available in a series of tabs, displayed prominently at the top of the site.
With usability at the forefront, Elliance added several functions to enhance the visitor’s overall site experience. A “Jump to” menu, candidate comparison tool, and a collection of scorecards, key players, and the latest viewpoints helps users to access the right information within seconds.
The “Jump to” menu enables direct access to polls, articles, events, and more. In a simplified question and answer format, the candidate comparison feature also allows users to swiftly visualize the pros and cons of each contender through a matrix approach. Lastly, the information scorecards, key players, and viewpoints tabs provide insight from reliable reports and industry professionals at a quick glance.
