Elliance, Inc. was awarded the Summit International Emerging Media Innovator Award, in the Best Visual Design category, for their search engine optimization (SEO) infographics.
Since May 2007, Elliance has been contributing weekly infographics to http://searchengineland.com, a popular SEO blog. About a year ago, Abu Noaman, Elliance CEO, developed the idea of SEO infographics as a way to explain SEO to clients. Later, Elliance decided to offer them at no charge as an educational tool. "We've tried to take the mystery out of SEO and present it in a simple, straight forward way,” said Edward Shin, lead designer of the infographics.
During the 2007 Emerging Media Awards, judges analyzed submissions and selected only 10% to receive awards. A few of this year's judges included: Kent Lewis, president of Anvil Media, Inc.; Ben Lloyd, President of Amplify Interactive; and Scott Hendison, CEO of Search Commander, Inc.
