Abu Noaman, CEO of Elliance, will present at NAGAP, the Association for Graduate Enrollment Management’s 28th Annual Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana this April. This was Noaman’s fifth year presenting at the conference.
Noaman gave his presentation, How to get a bigger piece of the enrollment pie: increasing inquiries by prioritizing programs, reviewing a case study on Alvernia University, one of Elliance’s higher education clients, and the bold approach they took to targeted digital marketing.
Tired of spreading their small budget thinly across a large number of programs they prioritized their top programs — such as MBA and DPT — and devoted the lion share of their marketing budget to only these programs. Then, they changed the marketing channels they used, spending everything to online tactics.
Noaman shared this case study of strategic marketing and innovative thinking before the approximately 200 of the 900 professionals that NAGAP brings together to gain insight and knowledge from peers and experts in the field.
Each year the conference features dynamic speakers who present through numerous educational sessions, covering new and creative approaches to the field and stirring up fresh insights in the minds of those working in graduate enrollment management across the grid. Topics covered through the sessions included: admissions policies and processes, career and staff development, graduate student support and financial aid, legal and ethical issues, marketing and recruitment, student services and others.
